Experience: Prior to joining StoneX, John served as Senior Managing Director and Head of Investment Banking at The Benchmark Company. Before joining The Benchmark Company in 2012, John was Senior Managing Director, Head of Investment Banking and a member of the board of directors of Rodman & Renshaw, which he joined in 1991. From 1984 to 1991, John was a senior vice president and investment manager responsible for business development at Security Pacific Business Credit. From 1979 to 1984, he served as a vice president and business development officer with Barclays American Business Credit. John served for four years on the SEC Advisory Committee on Small and Emerging Companies, during which time the JOBS Act was enacted.

John received his B.S. in agricultural economics from the University of California at Davis in 1978 and his J.D. from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles in 1984.
