Coffee futures

Coffee is grown primarily in Brazil, Vietnam, and Colombia, with prices closely tied to weather events like frost and drought in key growing regions. Arabica futures contracts represent 37,500 pounds each, and supply disruptions can lead to sharp price swings.

Sugar futures

Sugar is one of the most widely traded soft commodities, produced mainly in Brazil, India, and Thailand. Prices often move with Brazilian ethanol demand, since sugarcane can be diverted to fuel production, as well as with weather across major growing regions.

Cocoa futures

Cocoa is sourced largely from West Africa, particularly Ivory Coast and Ghana, which together account for most global supply. Futures prices can be sensitive to crop disease, harvest timing, and political developments in producing countries.

Dairy futures

Dairy futures cover products like milk, cheese, and butter, with prices shaped by feed costs, herd sizes, and shifts in global demand. They offer a way to trade agricultural exposure outside the grain and soft commodity markets more commonly associated with weather-driven volatility.

Futures trading involves significant risk of loss and is not suitable for all investors. Past performance is not necessarily indicative of future results.
