Role Purpose:

Job Purpose and Responsibilities

Position Purpose: The Senior Data Engineer (Forward Deployed) is a hands-on engineer who works alongside the business, not behind a ticket queue. You will embed with trading, operations, finance and risk teams to understand how they work, turn their questions into precise source-to-target mappings, and ship production Databricks pipelines on the StoneX Unified Data Platform in days and weeks, not quarters. AI is a core part of how you work: you use it to analyse sources, draft mappings, generate and test code, and build reusable frameworks that make the whole Global Data Services team faster. The role suits an engineer who enjoys a live problem, a demanding stakeholder and a fast pace, and who can explain a technical trade-off as clearly to a trader as to an engineer.

Primary duties will include:

• Discover and translate: run discovery sessions with business stakeholders; turn loosely defined asks into clear requirements, data contracts and acceptance criteria; play your understanding back in plain language.
• Map: produce rigorous source-to-target mappings (STTM) covering field-level lineage, transformation logic, keys, defaults, SCD handling and data quality rules, signed off by engineers and business users alike.
• Build: design and build batch and streaming pipelines on Databricks (PySpark, SQL, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, Lakeflow) that follow the medallion patterns of the Unified Data Platform.
• Accelerate with AI: use AI coding agents every day to profile sources, draft STTMs, and generate pipelines and tests; build reusable AI-enabled frameworks such as metadata-driven ingestion, STTM-to-code generation and automated data quality and reconciliation checks.
• Validate and land: reconcile outputs with the business, own data quality and monitoring, and drive adoption in Power BI and downstream systems.
• Operate: own production reliability for what you build (CI/CD, alerting, incident response, root-cause analysis), including cost and performance tuning on shared Databricks compute.
• Communicate: give crisp written and verbal updates to business and technology leaders, record decisions in Confluence and Jira, and reset expectations early when scope, dates or data change.

Job purpose:

StoneX is seeking an experienced paid acquisition professional to drive customer acquisition for its self-directed business brand:FOREX.com across APAC region, with primary responsibility for China and additional coverage of Singapore and Australia.

As Senior Specialist, Paid Acquisition (APAC), you will manage end-to-end paid media activity across display, PPC, paid social and paid app advertising. This includes ad development, compliance approval, campaign activation, optimisation and performance analysis.

This role is suited to a hands-on, data-driven marketer who can translate regional business priorities into effective acquisition plans, manage budgets with discipline and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

General Duties:

• Plan, execute and optimise paid acquisition campaigns for China, while supporting Singapore and Australia as required
• Manage campaigns across display, PPC, paid social and paid app advertising channels
• Coordinate the end-to-end advertising process, including briefing, ad creation, localisation, compliance approval, trafficking, launch and ongoing optimisation
• Develop and test advertising creative, copy, audience segments, bidding approaches and landing-page journeys to improve acquisition performance

Position Purpose :

We are looking for a hands-on Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our NeXus Core backend team. You will own and improve automated testing for distributed services supporting accounts, balances, trades and positions. Working closely with engineers, product and DevOps, you will build reliable component, integration, end-to-end and performance coverage, identify quality risks early, and help the team deliver correct, resilient services. This is a coding-focused role with technical ownership, code review and mentoring responsibilities.

Primary responsibilities include

• Own the backend test strategy, prioritising by business risk and choosing appropriate component, integration and end-to-end coverage.
• Extend shared TypeScript automation frameworks and reusable helpers; build maintainable suites, deterministic test data and isolated component environments.
• Validate gRPC contracts and behaviour, including authentication, authorisation, errors, deadlines, streaming and backward compatibility.
• Test Kafka-driven ingestion and processing, including eventual consistency, duplicate or out-of-order events, retries, recovery and reconciliation with database state.
• Develop and maintain k6 performance suites; investigate latency, throughput, error rates and resource behaviour using Datadog.
• Integrate functional and performance tests into Azure DevOps pipelines; diagnose failures, improve feedback and reduce flaky tests.
• Maintain TestRail traceability and automated reporting; communicate meaningful coverage gaps, defects and release risks.
• Work with engineers and product on acceptance criteria and testability; drive defect investigation through resolution.
• Review automation pull requests, mentor QA engineers and lead practical improvements to shared tooling and testing practices.

Primary duties will include: 

• Design, build and operate identity services across core identity provider platforms—Entra ID with hybrid directory services and Okta—including authentication journeys, application integration, federation and single sign-on at scale; implement, test, troubleshoot and monitor access policies, Conditional Access, MFA, passwordless authentication, authentication strengths, session controls, policy exclusions and emergency access safeguards.
• Operate and troubleshoot Active Directory in large, complex, multi-domain and multi-forest environments, including domain controllers, DNS and name resolution, Sites and Services, replication, Group Policy, trusts and cross-domain authentication, service accounts, privileged groups, delegated access and domain health; coordinate changes across dependent systems.
• Serve as a senior escalation point for complex identity incidents — authentication failures, provisioning issues, certificate-related outages, privileged access problems and production change failures — determining cause, escalating anything with ongoing or immediate impact, performing root cause analysis and driving the problem to a permanent fix. 
• Plan, execute, validate and document production identity changes, including risk assessment, implementation steps, rollback planning, stakeholder coordination, functional and connectivity testing, and post-change monitoring. 
• Grow the joiner, mover and leaver lifecycle — provisioning and deprovisioning driven from authoritative HR sources, and policy and role-based entitlement in place of ticket-by-ticket approval. 
• Support PKI and certificate lifecycle operations as they relate to identity services — TLS certificates, certificate-based authentication, domain controller certificates, renewal, revocation checks and outage troubleshooting. 
• Automate repeatable identity administration, reporting, validation, reconciliation and remediation using PowerShell, Microsoft Graph, REST APIs, source control and pipeline-based workflows, applying configuration-as-code to identity change rather than manual administration. 
• Develop group policies and access control lists, design and build system administration and management functionality for privileged access users, maintain baseline system security, and resolve vulnerabilities in identity systems and components through documented remediation plans. 
• Maintain the resilience of the service: define availability levels, determine disaster recovery and continuity of operations requirements, and develop, test and execute recovery and alternate-site procedures for identity platforms. 
• Own operational documentation for the identity services you support — SOPs, runbooks, implementation records, troubleshooting guides, escalation procedures, known-error documentation and workflow diagrams — kept current with the deployed design and to a standard that allows work to move between regions without loss. 
• Produce audit-ready evidence for identity controls — privileged access, access reviews, account lifecycle events, group membership, policy changes, app permissions, certificate ownership and remediation actions — supporting internal audit, external audit and client or scheme assessments including SWIFT CSP, defending design decisions and closing findings to agreed dates. 
• Collect metrics and trending data, develop cybersecurity and performance success metrics, and examine service performance reports for issues and variances so identity risk is visible without a manual data pull. 
• Mentor and upskill engineers across the team through code and design reviews, interactive training and knowledge transfer, building genuine cover so that every platform has more than one engineer, in more than one region, who can safely operate it. 
• Establish internal and external cross-team relationships — with security architecture, security operations, enterprise IT, HR, compliance and application teams — to gather requirements, translate proposed capabilities into technical requirements and deliver identity solutions that meet business needs.
