After months of near-parabolic gains in gold, market attention is turning to Bitcoin as investors reassess how alternative assets reflect confidence in fiat currencies. The transition between these two stores of value highlights a recurring pattern: when gold’s momentum cools, flows often reappear in digital assets. This renewed balance underscores how traders use rotation to navigate changing monetary and policy expectations.
James Stanley, Senior Strategist at FOREX.com, explores how this rotation dynamic has re-emerged, linking gold’s brief consolidation with the potential for Bitcoin to build a durable base of support.
Stanley observes that Bitcoin tends to strengthen when gold’s rally pauses, describing how “anti-fiat flows shifted from gold and into Bitcoin”.
