Commodities Network (Bogota)- The volume of Peruvian cocoa bean exports between January and November was 65.9 thousand tons, which represents an increase of 11% compared with the same period of 2022, the Peruvian Chamber of Coffee and Cocoa said.
The value amounted to USD$202.3 thousand, which is 40% more than the FOB value of the year 2022. The increase is explained because Malaysia became one of the main destinations, increasing its purchases by more than 21% in January-November on year.
