At the start of the trading week, strength around Bitcoin remains one of the most relevant factors for the market. Over the last seven trading sessions, the cryptocurrency has gained more than 23%, allowing it to approach a price zone not seen in several months near $80,000. For now, buying pressure remains dominant in an environment where optimism surrounding a clearer regulatory framework and weakness in alternative markets have helped sustain higher activity across the cryptocurrency sector. As long as these factors remain relevant, buying pressure on BTC could continue to play an important role during the upcoming trading sessions.
Factors Supporting Demand
One of the most important developments for the cryptocurrency market has been the regulatory optimism that began gaining momentum last week. After Trump renewed efforts to advance discussions around the Clarity Act in the Senate, the regulatory risk premium has started to decline, and markets remain focused on potential progress toward establishing a clearer regulatory framework for the sector. Over the longer term, initiatives of this nature could encourage greater institutional participation, a source of demand that has remained relatively sidelined over recent years. As a result, this factor continues to support improving market confidence in the short term.
In addition, it is important to consider the recent weakness in one of Bitcoin's main alternative markets: the U.S. dollar. Since the release of the Federal Reserve's minutes last week, the dollar has struggled to regain strength in a consistent manner. In fact, the DXY Index, which measures the performance of the U.S. currency against its major peers, continues to show a bearish profile at the start of the week and has so far failed to sustainably reclaim the 99-point level. This continues to reflect softer demand for the U.S. dollar in the short term.

This dynamic remains particularly relevant for Bitcoin, as the combination of stronger regulatory optimism and a weaker U.S. dollar could continue to support the recovery of the cryptocurrency market. While regulatory developments have improved expectations for the sector, dollar weakness has reduced part of the appeal of alternative markets in the short term.
This environment appears to be contributing to a significant recovery in Bitcoin-related activity, something that can also be seen through ETF flow data. For the first time in several months, capital inflows have maintained a relatively consistent upward trend, and by the end of last week some sessions recorded inflows exceeding $600 million. This reinforces the view that not only is confidence improving, but institutional demand also remains resilient in the short term.

All of this is important because activity within the BTC market has accelerated notably over recent sessions. This suggests that a stronger demand base may be gradually taking shape and, as long as the factors currently supporting the market remain in place and activity continues to expand, buying pressure could continue to play a significant role in Bitcoin's price action during the coming trading sessions.
What About Market Confidence?
Another important factor to consider is that sentiment indicators across the cryptocurrency market continue to show meaningful improvement. The confidence index remains on a steep upward trajectory and recently reached the 81-point area, moving beyond the "Greed" zone and into "Extreme Greed" territory. These are levels not seen in more than a year and reflect a rapid recovery in overall market confidence.

This development is particularly relevant because the rise in the confidence index not only reflects a supportive environment for demand but could also become an important factor if elevated readings are sustained in the weeks ahead. Strong confidence is often associated with a greater willingness among investors to take on risk. Therefore, if the indicator continues to advance or remains at elevated levels, buying pressure could continue to be a relevant factor in BTC price movements.
Bitcoin Technical Outlook

Source: StoneX, Tradingview
- A Significant Bullish Move: Bitcoin has shown consistent strength across multiple trading sessions. The recent rally has been powerful enough to break a long-term downtrend line that had dominated the chart for several months. However, a fully defined structure confirming the development of a new aggressive uptrend has yet to emerge. In addition, the intensity of the recent advance could leave room for temporary downside corrections during upcoming sessions.
- MACD: The MACD histogram continues to fluctuate above the neutral 0 level, signaling that the average strength of short-term moving averages remains supportive of a meaningful bullish bias. If this behavior persists, bullish momentum could remain an important factor over the coming weeks.
- RSI: The RSI tells a slightly different story, as the indicator remains above the overbought threshold marked by the 70 level. This suggests a potential buildup of excessive buying pressure, which could eventually create room for more meaningful corrective pullbacks if overbought conditions continue to intensify.
Key Levels to Watch:
- $81,700 – Major Resistance: This level represents the nearest resistance zone and stands as the most important upside barrier above the psychological $80,000 mark. It could become a significant obstacle to the continuation of the recent rally in the sessions ahead.
- $73,600 – Nearby Barrier: This area coincides with recent retracement levels and the 61.8% Fibonacci retracement of the most relevant move on the chart. It may become the primary reference level should short-term bearish corrections begin to develop.
- $67,300 – Critical Support: This level aligns with the 200-period Simple Moving Average (SMA) and remains one of the most important downside barriers within the current market structure. A return toward this region could undermine the credibility of the recent advance and begin to introduce a more pronounced phase of uncertainty, potentially opening the door to a broader period of consolidation in the weeks ahead.
