Charitable giving has always been an essential part of StoneX culture. Until recently, however, most giving took place at the office level – or even among specific teams or individuals. This model made it difficult – if not impossible – to measure the company’s total giving impact with much accuracy.
That changed in 2022 thanks to two developments: 1) the adoption of a company-wide online giving platform that made it easier for employees to find the causes they cared about online and have StoneX match their donations, and 2) the creation of a philanthropy affinity group among employees that catalyzed interest in giving and helped promote use of the new platform.
One year later, StoneX employees donated $1.2 million through the platform, which was in turn matched by the company for a total of $2.4 million. We couldn’t be prouder of this display of generosity on the part of our people or of the impact these funds will have across so many worthy causes.
